She never shows up. But the trailer, the dream, the wake-up call—that’s where the real story lives.

Rev Radio Ministries Presents: “Snow in July”—A 3-Part Audio Drama Mini-Series

Broadcast Title: “Snow in July”

Presented by: Rev Radio Ministries

Air Dates:

Act I: Tuesday, June 10

Act II: Wednesday, June 11

Act III: Thursday, June 12

MINI-SERIES SUMMARY:

“Snow in July” is a story of lost love, false hope, and one man’s quiet reckoning. Set over the course of three days — and years of emotional entanglement — this drama explores the ache of believing in someone who never truly shows up, and the resilience it takes to let go.

Told in three intimate acts, “Snow in July” captures the human longing for connection, the damage of betrayal, and the bitter-sweet absurdity of still hoping — even when we know better.

EPISODE GUIDE

ACT I – “The Show-Up Test”

Air Date: Tuesday, June 10

Summary:

He revisits the past: when she failed to meet him at the train station during a snowstorm, when she didn’t promote his book despite doing so for her friends. “For Jessie to show up,” he says, “it’d have to snow in July.”

ACT II – “Checkbook of the Heart”

Air Date: Wednesday, June 11

Summary:

The emotional bill comes due. He reminds her of how he showed up — at the hospital, every day, before and after her surgery — while her own family stayed away. He questions why she believed them when they said he’d abandon her if she came out disabled. It’s not the theft that hurts most — it’s that she doubted his love. He spells it out: to understand him, to really get it, it would have to snow in July.

ACT III – “The Cold Night”

Air Date: Thursday, June 12

Summary:

She picks the time, the place — and doesn’t show. He finishes his coffee alone, pays his check, and steps into a bitterly cold night. It doesn’t snow, but it’s cold enough to sting. And even as he walks away, wiser and more worn, he knows that if she ever calls again… his heart will still skip a beat.
